“Lacquer Prints: Paper Fishes” by Amy Lowell

"Lacquer Prints: Paper Fishes"

The paper carp,

At the end of its long bamboo pole,

Takes the wind into its mouth

And emtis it at its tail.

So is man,

Forever swalling the wind.
