The PhD candidate responsible for the platform and the research project is Leah Budke. The project is supervised by Prof. Dr. Marysa Demoor and Prof. Dr. Birgit Van Puymbroeck.

Leah Budke is a doctoral research fellow with the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) at Ghent University in Belgium. Her project is titled “Markers and Makers of Tradition: The Serially Published Modernist ‘Little’ Anthology (1912-1930)” and researches the modernist poetry anthology in relation to the modernist magazine to shed new light on the formation of a modernist tradition.

Her research interests include fin-de-siècle and modernist poetry, editorial practices, periodicals, and print culture. She has published in the international peer-reviewed journal English Literature in Transition, 1880-1920 on the continuation of female aestheticism in the modernist poetry anthology Wheels (see below for full list of publications).

Alongside her current research project, she serves as the “What are you reading” editor for DiGeSt: Journal of Diversity and Gender Studies. She is also a member of the Digital Humanities Research Lab.
